Hello all,

I am sure we have all done it, been cruising on the touratech site or nippy normans and seen something really thought would make the F800GS better, even by a small margin.

That's how I felt when I saw the rear wheel bolt cover, a small plastic cover that snaps over the rear bolt set to keep the crap out, especially from the gaps in the chain adjuster.

I am now left wondering if these things are mare from solid gold? £40 for one! That means £80 for a set, what a f***ing rip off, I doubt it is Nippys fault, as touratech have it listed at a similar price, but jesus christ, what gives?

and they are easily stolen :augie

Touratec Crooks..

Can't you use a bit of chewing gum? No one would steal that would they?

No seriously.. I was looking at Touratec prices myself just now.. saw my Garmin Zumo 550 for £694.59!! :censor:

On Amazon it's £450

I paid under £400 from my local store. Do they think we are just stupid or what?

Does anyone really go shopping there to those greedy b'stards

They also make crap and blatantly false claims about the Zumo and I quote:

"again no computer is needed. Because of the built-in battery, you will need no external power sources - making the
zumo the perfect off-road navigator for hiking."

Yer right with a battery life of an hour and a half your hike better be no further then the end of your dam road.

They try sell a whole lot of unnecessary crap on the premise that if you don't but all their overpriced gear your bike and life will fall apart in no time.

Lol, I really like how on that page it has £529.00 strikes through, and £694.59 bold, as if it was a better price?!

Idiots
