Me? On my massed Wanders, I just put them in a reasonable chain hotel, pretty close to the centre of town. Then I found a restaurant / bar or two.

Up to 10 separate rooms in Logis type hotels is not always easy and, not least, not necessarily cheap. The chains, though somewhat generic, are usually easier. Likewise, cafes for lunch, with 10 bods sitting down all at once is sometimes a challenge.

I stayed in the L'Univers in Arras on Tuesday night with four bikermates and thought it was pretty good. Nice sized rooms, quiet and peaceful, secure bike parking (the gate is locked at night - I checked) for 5 Euros each, and a nice breakfast which, like all French hotels on my recent tour, is no longer included anywhere and cost between 15-20 Euros. This place was 18 Euros. The accommodation was 109 Euros per person.
