I've bought a 2nd hand 1150 Adv as a BMW approved used bike from a dealer in Tokyo, I'd like to check that it has had all the recalls applied - any idea where I can check the recall info?

Any help appriciated.

For what it's worth - it's a great bike, wonderful to ride. Tokyo traffic can be a pain though!

My Rockster had the quick release fuel lines prelaced by BMW at at service. Nothing was mentioned or listed on any of the paperwork. The previous owner happened to speak to one of the mechanics who told him, otherwise he would never have known.

So I guess BMW do stuff without us knowing. Unless you have the service bulletins you probably wont know. But I'd guess you could check with your local Dealership and see whatthey say. If your bikes has been serviced by BMW then I suspect everything has been done. :)

Checked my fuel lines, they appear to be the std crimp connectors.
Dealer has a brand new Adv in at the moment - I'll try and check the latest (last) Adv spec!

Anybody know what the deal is with corroded fork braces?
