I have a Dell Axim 51v , running Windows Mobile 6.1 and need to find a web browser that is usable.
Internet Explorer has issues on "busy" sites like news.bbc.co.uk and www.virginmedia.com/webmail, where items like check boxes, text input boxes and buttons do not line up with their labels. On sites like www.caxtonfxcards.com some features of the .aspx controls are not visible at all.
I have tried using Opera for Windows Mobile instead of IE. All check boxes, text input, labels and buttons line up perfectly, but .apsx controls do not seem to work at all !
On our recent short stay in Bayeux I had plenty opportunity, and need, to try out the Axim when Jackie was taken in to hospital with appendicitis.
What do you use for browsing, and what are the limitations ? I want be bale to check email, access my bank account, check the weather, check UKGSer.com and load my Caxton FX card whilst travelling.
