been looking for a decent jacket for taking off road,

ive got halvarrsons gi pants on black for the legs and have been using my rukka allroad jacket at the mo as i dont have anything else

i know its a rukka "allroad" suit so should be good for every occasion, and it is as i use it every day rain or shine as i dont have a car and the gs is the main form of transport, just dont want to fcuk it up when i fall off, as £600 is alot pf money!

looking for something of a similar style and design and features, but deosnt cost the earth if things go tits up, (or down depending on which way you look at it)
anyone got any ideas? or an older all road jacket in 46-48 chest they want rid of for a decent price?

:beerjug:

I've got a set of Rukka Air-Sport (or something) gear I use on the road, but it's just too damn expensive to be tumbling around offroad.

I bought a set of Sinisalo gear both waterproof and now just plain MX trousers and jersey - I've had a couple of tumbles in it all and it's pretty durable and the waterproof stuff fairly waterproof even when you land in an icey puddle :(

saw a Shift MX jacket on flea bay other week, Buy it now 50 quid i think, now Shift KNOW their stuff when it comes to offroad, worth a look maybee

Decent boots, body armour and Motocross or Enduro throusers...
Get a decent Army Goretex jacket for cheap.. Very durable, more waterproof and breathable than a low to mid price bike jacket.
Pair of Matching over throusers for your legs if it rains.
