Recommend me a kitchen supplier

Thanks for all the advice guys.:thumb I'll get the brother in law back in to do a more detailed design, and will probably go down the Howdens route.:beerjug:

Im not local to you, but Ive just had mine done, and is almost finished. I employed a joiner to supply & fit my new kitchen. He brought me door & worktop samples to choose from and took control of everything - gas/electric/water/plumbing/plastering/raising ceiling/vellux windows/drinking my tea etc. He sourced the kitchen from the manufacturer - TK Components who id never heard of, but I'm more than happy with it. Look for 18mm thicknesses to backs and drawer bottoms.

Wow, that looks stunning, Bear.:thumb Are those Corian worktops? How much did that set you back, if you don't mind me asking (PM me if you prefer)?

Kitchen units incl all fitting & services cost approx £6k, Quartz worktops £2k and then £4k for lifting the ceiling and adding Velux windows. Appliances were extra, I chose Siemens cooker & combo microwave, Siemens induction hob, Caple extractor, Bosch 70/30 integrated fridge freezer & Bosch dishwasher. Some other additional costs for the Perrin & Rowe tap, radiator & electric sockets. I painted it myself using Farrow & Ball colours but had them mixed by Johnstones.

I've just ordered glass splash backs which were about £600 and are yet to be fitted. Aluminium bifold patio doors are on order and will be fitted December. And I haven't even thought about flooring yet, but will most likely be a cheaper version of Amtico with a Parquet effect. So maybe pushing £20K by the time we've finished

I would never have thought of having white worktops with oak units, but saw it at a friends house and loved it. I drew the layout myself, and then went to Howdens to get the proper drawing done. But we didn't like the colour of Howdens oak and their trade price with 80% discount was still high, so went with a joiner who had done kitchens for people I know.

we are very pleased with our Ikea kitchen, dishwasher and hob, the oven we bought separately.

Our kitchen is made by Cuisine Schmidt from France. It was fitted by a company near Shirley, Croydon. Excellent and built to last.
