Recommend me a nice town in Eastern Austria...

Havin nice bimble around Lake Balaton and gonna head for Austria tomorrow, can anyone recommend me a decent spot in the east for lunch and anywhere good head for nightstop..?

Am intending to go via higher ground and then to Slovenia for a few days...

I can recommend Balatonfured on the North shore of Lake Balaton.... Crackin little spot and cheap as chips... Good hotels, crackin cafes and restaurants and nice towns to explore the Northern coast. Avoid Siofok if ever here... I spent night there last night and whilst 'OK' the accomodation for what it was was a rip off... Bit like Santa Ponsa in Hungary!!
