Go Up to Johnny and Tashes at Waternish
Lochbay B&B
And go for tea at the Stein Inn!
Much more than Fish on the Menu
If you do Go up there take the A863 to Dunvegan and then onto Lochbay (Waternish peninsula) via A850 and B886 MUCH Much Nicer scenery!

I hear that the smoked sausage supper in Portree is good! 
Seriously Trev, advice given in first reply on both threads is good. (All main petrol stations will be open on Sunday.)

we are on a wee trip to Skye this w/end so would appreciate any pointers for good grub.
Unfortuately we dont eat fish

Cafe Ariba in Portree is excellent reasonably cheap good quality.
Bosville Hotel is also good but fairly traditional.
Ols Schoolhouse in Dunvegan very good.
Three Chimneys in Glendale is World Class but take out a bank loan first.
Stein Inn in Waternish also good.
