I am after a torque wrench - its not for me but for a leaving gift for a colleague at work. Snap-On looks a tad too pricey as I was looking at under £100.00 and in the 6-80nm range.

Halfords do one in their Professional range for £50.00.

I don't think he would be so keen on the Lidl's one which i have :augie

Any recommendations please :thumb2

i can get big discounts on teng tools stuff if you're interested. i use them myself. as good as snap on, but cheaper. they're lifetime guaranteed too.

+1 for Teng

I've just replaced my old wrench with a Teng one. I reckon they're just as good as Snap On at a more realistic price. In fact, all my main tools are Teng and the only problem I've had is the ratchet bar in my 3/8" socket set had to be replaced as the mechanisim wore out. But after 22 years service, I can't really complain. :thumb2

Norbar, used at my workplace, these take a hammering yet pass their annual calibration.

+1 for Norbar.

I've had one for the last 10yrs & it's always been bob-on... Cost was around £40
