When are you coming, how long and what sort of budget? In fact, what sort of distance from Ipswich is acceptable? 15 mins? 30 mins? I'm about half an hour away and there's some lovely countryside nearby.

It's only a stones throw away from Martlesham Heath - it may be easier with the traffic too. You could try Bull Hotel - on Market Square - Town centre The Crown - on Cross corner - Town centre If you like golf, Ufford Park Hotel is very good, with easy access to the A12 (direct to Martlesham Heath) If you like expensive county hotels, then Seckford Hall Hotel is the one for you. All of the above have parking. Personally i'd go for the Crown or Bull, as then you can have a walk around Woodbridge, and a sample of a few local ales. Good luck in your search. Cheers Stevo
