Recommendations - Engine/fairing bars - 2004 GS

Guys

Any recommendations for engine and/or fairing protection bars?

I want to get something attached because there's a distinct possibilty that I will, at some point, 'have an oopsie!'
My usual trick is to do the fatal 'panic and grab front brake' trick when doing a slow turn (or losing my footing on gravel is the other classic! Yes, I talk from experience!)

Would rather have spent a bit of cash on some bars than pay to repair the damage to engine or bodywork!
Looking for advice on what to get and where to get it!

Any help appreciated!

Ditto, easy good fit and seem really strong look good as well and as far as I can see you can get the heads off ok. Got them from Nippys, make sure the web site dosent order you two pairs instead of one, has done this to me twice a phone call sorts it but be careful.

I like the touratech bars - they're quite expensive but are made of stainless steel and are very light. Also look great on the bike unlike a lot out there
