I wonder if you can help.

I am doing the level 1 offroad course in Abercrave in a couple of weeks time. I've got a place sorted for two night, but the daft sods have cocked up on the third night. As the course finishes that afternoon at 4pm-ish, I don't fancy a 350 mile schlep back up to Scotland that evening.

Best plan seems to be to head back up the A483 for a hundred or so miles and find somewhere to stay the night.

Any ideas?

I know them and have stayed there, can recommend it. They allowed us to park the bikes in the courtyard at the back. There is also 2 pubs oposite one with a very good restaurant, but you will need to book a table there to be sure. The owners of this place can probably advise

I've gone for the Unicorn Hotel as it's on my route and a bit closer. Means I get there in good time for a hose down, a pint and some grub.
