Recovery of older bikes in the EU ... recommend me a provider please?

RAC - cover bikes over 20 years old for EU breakdown…

Expensive though.. I paid £95 for a week earlier this month…

But… cheaper then Autoroute recovery….

I'd be OK paying that as long as repatriation in event of breakdown was included.

When I called RAC direct they wanted something like £340

When i looked at the website, i was quoted a similar amount.... but i'm a member, so retried via the App as a member - then it was £95

Uncle Albert (rip) once pranged his bike (1150GS) somewhere in europe and they wouldn't recover it due to the cost versus value.
So he hired a van, picked it up and recovered it himself.

This; never had breakdown recovery in all the years i've been abroad; if it was too bad it could go straight in the skip; saying that; i'd never paid 20 grand for a ride; mine was only worth a grand or so;
