Thinking of getting a hugger and longer front guard and in the absence of proper photos on the Motorrad Concepts site, I've done a crude 'motorrad concept' of my own.

Is this the dogs bollox or would black be more in keeping?

Tim

Black is definitely better. Please dont make them red. Thanks!

It's your bike, but if you're asking for other peoples opinion, then mine is...

...NO... Keep them black!

:beerjug:

Paint your red bits black then everything will match. Red hugger and front mudguard look a bit different but if that suits you then fine.

Personally....:barf Keep them black.

But , beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.

the fastest way to get a hugger is to paint one :-)

me I'm still waiting&waiting&waiting&waiting&waiting&waiting&waiting&waiting&waiting for my hugger.

But the one who is waiting for something good, isn't ........................ Or is he?

Thanks for the replies. You've confirmed what I thought--red is just too much.

I'm not too keen on carbon fibre so I tried photoshopping a silver version of the hugger and guard, but they looked worse than the red ones.

I suppose I could always paint the parts plain black.

It seems pretty clear that black front and back is preferred by most, but I'm wondering if a colour-matched hugger picks-up the colour of the bike quite nicely, taking it through to the back and still maintaining a balance. I reckon the coloured front guard overloads the front with too much colour, disturbs the lines and competes with the coloured beak. Well, that's my take on it. Mind you, I'd like to see it in the flesh before I'd make such a bold move.

Thanks for the good work Tim, I've been wondering about this myself. Any chance of reposting with a red hugger and black front guard? Just curious...

Cheers,
Steve

Black front guard, red rear hugger. Nice to see a little extra colour without looking too colour co-ordinated.
