Regular Meets Beds/Herts/Bucks

Hi,
Being a newbee tosser, just wondered if there were any regular meetings arranged in the Beds,Herts & Bucks area? I live near Junction 12 of the M1, so am reasonably central.
I have noticed, Paul 13, RobK & Twintrees aren't far away, any ideas!

RobK, was doing a regular meet once a month, it was the first sunday of the month in Bedford.

It seems to have stopped at the moment.

I have put a thread up regarding he farewell to summer run, which is on the 26 October. You are welcome along.

I hope to do a run organised with my local IAM,, HBAM they are doing a run from Bourne end services on the A41 out towards the costwold on this coming sunday, and back to Baldock.

Hi all,
I am up for a meet - dunno where though and weather is always a factor this time of year as I always like to attend on a bike when poss.

There is a biker friendly pub in Toddington - The Griffin (on left coming from M1. Anyone know it/fancy it?
 
I used to go to the Angel years back when that was a bikers pub .. back when i was living in Flitwick would sometimes pop into the Bell.

Not sure which one is the Griffin? But yea I could head out that way.
 
The Griffin is the first boozer on the left as you come into Toddington from J12, just after the left hand bend and before the green and long before the Angel (an old haunt of mine as well - from years ago)
There is a car park entrance right before the Griffin (down the side).

Anyone else fancy a beer and some grub?

Timescales are a bit of a problem for me, as i am always out with the band....you can see us at the Angel this Friday 21st Nov if you don't mind good rock music...Come along and introduce yourself. I'm the one on the righthand side.....Dave:guitarist
 
Rob - Griffin could be a palce to meet then. (i may have had some grub there a good few years back .. did they used to alligator n catfish as a surf n turf .. or something like that !?!!!)

I'm guessin weather may keep some at bay at mo !?

Dave - Whats the band called? What kind if music? May pop along some other time. Sometimes go to the Horn in StAlbans as they do live bands in there. Mate of mine lives in Flitwick and we'll sometimes go to a pub with a band on for something different.

The bands name is : The Mighty Hub Whipley. Usually cover further north than Toddington, i.e Bedford, Northampton, Cambridge, Huntingdon. the next gigs other than private parties are :
The Kings Arms, bedford 6th Dec
The Wheatsheef, Rushden 17th Dec
The Club, Gt Doddington 20th Dec.

Modern Rock: Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, Darkness, Frattellis etc, and some old stuff, Queen, Stones etc etc.
