My father is moving house from Normandy to Lincolnshire. Does anyone know of any good removal companies who could do this with as reasonable price as possible?

Try Luker Brothers (http://www.lukerbros.co.uk/aboutus.html) out of Oxford or Britannia (http://www.britannia-movers.co.uk/). I used Luker for moving out of Uganda and back to the UK and then from the UK to Switzerland and they were excellent. They do a weekly scheduled run to Switzerland and while I am not sure of the route they may even be able to do a pickup for smaller loads. Their prices were quite reasonable (by way of removal companies that is) if I recall.
Reflex Move (now Reflex Moodys http://www.reflexmoodys.com/) moved our stuff over here 18 years ago as a part load and I've recommended them to a few people since. They always provided a good service but I would get prices from others as well as there are still a lot of companies doing UK to France looking for return loads.
