Thought I would start a new thread to try and get specific advice on this.
Can I assume that I only need to cut out and rejoin wires where original has been cut and alarm wires have been added in between the 2 ends (hope this is clear)?
Where alarm has been spliced in and original wire not cut can I just cut alarm wire and insulate?
I'm trying to remove as few wires as possible as I find stripping the insulation is not easy especially when near a connector.
There is a sticky mess left when stripping alarm insulation tape, is it o.k. to use self amalgamating tape as insulation?
any advice welcomed
Griff
