anyone recommend a good way of doing this? Want to send a copy of a recent beeb programme wild shepherdess over to the people in it in Afghanistan.... a pamir friend treks through there a couple of times a year and will be amazing to let them see how it turns out...
only chance they will get !

I'd either use capture software (such as replay capture for windows) or better still a Convert DVI tool which is physical device it's a way to crop into the host frame and it strips all the underlying technology designed to stop you doing that...:augie

then you can recode it, resize, etc....

Download I player with one of the 3rd party program's that download the iOS device feed. No DRM on that ;)

Forgot to say, that's for OSX, but there are programs for Windows too. Let me know if you need a pointer to those.

Get iplayer downloader is brilliant. Due to work I often don't have time to watch things before the iplayer time limit runs out. GIP strips the time/drm off it and I can watch it later when I have free time.

Get_iplayer will do it if you're using Linux.

Edit - looks like its available for Windows too. :thumb2
