I tried to load a Garmin disc on computer, it all locked up, and wouldn't load . i deleted it, and went to try again, but its still in programmes, ( just the name only no Megs ? )

i've gone into control board and tried to delete it, its says deleted, but still there .

i try to reload programme, it says -do you want to alter, change / delete , no matter what i press it still stays in place.

remember, i'm dangerous with a compter

I take it that you have re-booted after your visit to Control Panel > Add/Remove software?

just touched base with the judge, he ran a few ideas past me, we configured there was a problem, and wrapped by a few ideas, i needed to clarify some space and edit my thoughts, then we could cogitate and come to a conclusion.

That needed some team input, no can do , so we circumnavigated the shortcut and decided on a must do situation, drafted up a list of priorities, with must do's and no can do's, hit it back and forth, bounced ideas off each other, and shrink wrapped some answers.

its f*cked ,

You need...

a computer engineer to have a look at your PC, so tomorrow whilst your sorting out my bike I will have a look at your computer for you.

Mick

Mick, its not the computer thats gone wrong, its the disc's i'm trying to load, they keep jamming or not being excepted .

i'll see you later .

Clean the disc off on the shiny side with a soft cloth.....go from the centre outwards not around and around.....might also be worth trying a DVD/CD cleaning disc from any old shop.

Sounds like you might have to do some delving in the registry

I wasn't impressed with their software installation when I got mine...not well written at all.
