Hi All,

Does anybody know of a product that can remove the scratches from the bmw panniers ?

I think I might have seen someone on this site offering plastic repairs ???

Anyone got any advice ???

Cheers

Depending on the finish you are after, If they are surface/minor scratches, you could try wire wool, 00 then 000 gauge... this will leave a smooth finish.

I've used it on many plastic surfaces, from PC cases to BMW panniers!

You don't want a smooth finish on your panniers repaired bit though when they have a slight textured finish originally!

To do it properly you need to flat down and fill the scratches with an epoxy type filler (normal ones won't grip too well) then spray a special textured finish over the repair before spraying the colour on. I can do it, but I way down South so you'd have to post your pannier lids to me.

Call Bike Medic head office and they'll pass you on to the nearest local guy to you:
