Hi guys,
I want to install Touratech upper crash bars and a headlight cover from Lone Rider.

For both of those things, it is necessary to dismantle the additional LED headlights (will move them to crash bars) or more precisely the bracket on which they are suspended.

This bracket is attached with 2 screws with plastic covers. By turning the screw which is accessible from below or the plastic cover (maybe removable?) I am able to get 1/4-1/8 of a turn in one direction or the other, then resistance.

Before I break something, I thought I would ask if anyone knows how to unscrew this properly?

Thanks!

Mine looks different, mine doesn’t have the plastic hexagons but captive bolts that in the light bracket that pokes up & has nuts on the top

your problem might be caused by thread lock 🤷‍♂️
