This tank protector doesn't "do" it for me, but it was on the bike when I bought it. I reckon a hairdryer, old credit card and white spirit should do the trick, but would welcome comments from others who have removed them, before I let rip. Before anyone suggests I use "Search", I have and still can't find what I want.

Floss it!!

A suggestion made just today by a good mate - use dental floss. It's strong and won't mark the paint.

Sherps;)

I've posted this before but here it goes again:

BOILING WATER

Yes, pour boiling water over it and by magic you''ll be able it to peel it off....

The remaining glue can again be removed with boiling water...

Gentlemen. You are all genuises! The wife wasn't keen on me using her hairdryer anyway. :thumb

The decals on the side of my Adv's tank came off easily with a high pressure hose. Should work on your tank protector, I'd think...

Good Tip, but make sure you don't put the kettle down on the seat...as I once saw somebody do:eek:

PS: That thing is bloody hideous:shoot:
