OK I know this is meant to be the most easy job in the world but I'm having trouble removing the baffle on my Remus Revolution.

I'm using a black and decker drill with a drill bit for metal and I'm hardly scratching the surface of the rivet. Are there special drill bits for steel that I should be using?

It does need a sharp drill bit. Seem to remember thinking that the rivet was quite hard steel when I did mine.

Mine too. I think the rivet is actually stainless steel. Use a sharp drill bit, good pressure and slow speed on the drill. It will go through fairly easily then.

All the above plus try taking the end can off first for easier and more accurate access to the rivet - I remember wishing I had!
