OK who has one fitted and whats the sound like ? do most people go for Titanium rather than Carbon if so why ?

Don't have one, don't know what they sound like, but plastic and hot exhaust gasses do not go well together. Once the wadding (insulation) has blown out the hot exhaust gasses will start to cook the resin that bonds the carbon fibre. Repack before this happens and you won't have a problem, but how do you know before its too late?

don't have carbon or titanium just the plain stainless jobby , seems to "breathe more easily" whilst emitting a very healthy bark.

Hmm App Remus don't do carbon for the 1100 so its going to be titanium. Should have it by next week, anyone ever bothered recording what their bike sounds like with the remus ? or know of location of a wav etc

... all the various 'barks' and 'rumbles' are itemised out for ya, even down to 4 different settings (easy going, idle, revving hard) The site's in German but use a translator site like Babelfish or www.freetranslation.com to get the gist.

Well I got the can fitted its a Remus though, those sounds on the web do no justice to the cans, my god the sound of this thing is only awesome, just in idle it gives a beutiful deep rumble and overruns you get a nice popping, as I said on another post the perfomance inprovement I care little for, the sound of the remus titanium race can makes the bike for me.
