HELP .
As metioned in other posts I fitted a Remus Titainium Road can in Sept. I am very pleased with the improvement of the engine , BUT still not happy with the way the can sits . I can see that other owners have had a similar problem . the problem is that looking from the rear the can sits at a 11oclock /5 oclock position instead of 12/6 oclock . J&N Racing supplied the Y & can but have not been very helpful in solving the problem . The bracket supplied with the can is very well enginered so I am not happy in cutting it about , also why should I after parting with hard earned £££££££s. At the meet in Princetown all the Remus cans were at12/6 o'clock . Anyone have ideas ??????????????

I am thinking of buying linners for my BMW panniers any other options around or good suppliers ???

Also crash bars I like the Wunderlich with the spot lights any comments about fitting also how to wire the lights . and supply of parts .

Pannier Liners

Hi Kev have a look at this site for your pannier liners Mane Event Well made and a lot cheaper than BMW. As for the lights you can go down the PIAA route alternatively Halfords do a good set of Hella ovals for around £40. Stick in a couple of 100watt lamps and they look and work perfect.

Gazza . Thanks for the photo . The lights look good . Just the job.
Have you got them wired on a separate switch if so where have you put it .or is there a way to use the standard bar switches ?

Remus exhaust angle

I've just fitted my Remus, and as you say, it does sit slightly off from the vertical (12-6) but I just put a couple of thickish washers in between the can mount and the frame lug, and it pretty well straightened it up.

Just a thought on fitting any exhaust, and I'm sure you probably know this already.. but if when assembling everything, you leave all the bolts slightly loose, you may be surprised how much adjustment there is in the positioning of everthing, and you may get the silencer to fit better just by doing that.

Light Switch.

Hi Kev no they are not seperately switched, however it is just as easy to install them seperately switched. Mine are just switched thru a relay and come on with main beam. If you want them switched there is a purpose made kit called an Autoswitch which allows you to operate the lights via the indicator cancel button. See this link Autoswitch
Or just fit a standard toggle switch somewhere on the dash.

Thanks for the thoughts on the washers , but yes I have tried this , also using a longer stainless steel stud , also leaving every thing loose . none of which work , I will wait to the bike show in Nov. Otherwise I will have a bracket made using the supplied one as a patern . I am reluctant to cut the original as the work is such good quality , so no disc cutter or welding kit . It's a pity that these people suppling these add ons don't supply a better after sales service .
Regarding the lights I will investigate the web for the autoswitch . The site for the Mane event bags looks good will order a set of bags this week .
