Can anyone give me some info on replacing the standard exhaust with a Remus on an 850GS, will I have to get a new Y piece and do any re-mapping?

Your choice with the Y piece, otherwise the can is a slip-on. Personally I binned it, lighter weight and more mid-range ( plus a nice fruity sound

There isn`t a Y piece on the 850 or 1100
Ooooops, Tarks is right, as ever - it's a single connecting pipe
Well, it's five years since I fitted one
If it will fit (and it very likely will) I have a vgc Laser off my 1100 that I'd be happy to sell. Lovely sound.

Yep certainly interested, my mobile 07709939834.
got a remus revolution on me 11gs with connector pipe from motorworks fitted strait on no joint seals needed approx 5kg lighter than oem,sounds good bike goes like feck no remapping needed as system is designed for the bike still does 50 mpg
