Remus or Akrapovic?

Apart from the price has anyone any experience with either cans on a 2010 Twincam GS? Fit,finish,noise,performance gains etc

Looking to fit one so any advise before i spend hard earned appreciated...

In the longer term Remus cans fracture round the middle. There was a Thread on the subject some while back. Search is your friend.

Remus or Akro

Had both and the Akro wins hands down. Remus very noisy (they are supposerd to be). Ackro great sound and fantastic quality.

imo you dont need a can on dohc they sound fruity enough already,do you really need more noise or is it part of a tune up along with other bits to gain more hp?

Full Akro on my TC , lovely fit and finish , keeps the Valve , not too loud until you take the baffle out , goes a nice colour and no corrosion problems

my remus carbon hexacone has split all the way up the seam 8k mls 3.5 yrs old not great build quality, does anyone know what the customer service is like?

Got Remus titanium Hexacone on my twincam GSA. Been on bike for 15 mths and approx 12.000mls and still looks like new. Is actually quieter than standard can but i do still have the cat fitted. Doesn't give any noticable increase in performance but is lighter than standard can and looks much better. A major plus is that the Remus is much cheaper than Akra can.
