My Remus Ti end can has developed a large crack which runs half way around the middle of the titanium sleeve and about 4 inches along where the mounting bolts to the sleeve - is this sort of thing repairable? Titanium welding? thx

Have you tried contacting Remus, who could possibly supply (sell) you a sleeve?

Remus web site send photo of failed silencer. Ask if this is normal given age of silencer. If you don't know age give bike age. Be really nice, see if you can create a little good will from them.

I have emailed Remus twice with no reply. Is there Remus in UK or only France?

titanium

Titanium isn't notoriously difficult to weld you just need a TIG set, an argon bath big enough to stick the pipe in, some 1.6 mm titanium filler wire & off you go.

Well, I had some success, the guys down at MTC Exhausts www.mtcexhausts.co.uk rebuilt it with a new stainless sleeve and new wadding, polished it up and did it including postage for £60 - amazing!!!!!:D:D
