GS Headers

I have a remus can and was wondering about putting some headers without the cat on the GS. If i do this will the bike still pass the mot or will i have to replace the cat pipes each time, and also will i see much of a power difference and will the bike need chipping or will the electronics be able to cope. :augie Cheers guys for any help given :thumb

Put my 2003 GS ADV in for an MOT last week with NO CAT on it also had Remus can on too
passed no problem at all:thumb

It was my understanding that bikes from 2007 on will be subject to emissions testing that would in effect require the bike to have a catalyst to pass. If you're bike is 2007 I'd therefore say that yes - you'd have to replace the headers.

have met a local bloke who lives in this town who does exhausts for bikes makes his own and imports them. i dont have one but ive seen his stuff and hes a real enthusiast check the link
