I need to find somewhere to rent, single occupancy, so not a big house, near Ystradgynlais for at least 6 months.

Any one got any info on local newspapers, or estate/rent agencies in the area. As I say single bed flat is fine. Also as much as I need to know where to go, I need to know where not to go too.

Required very soon.

Thanks.

I'll have a gander when I get home tomorrow:thumb2

See what I can dig up.

Isn't Taff an estate agent (Carmarthan I know, but he may have contacts :nenau) Give him a PM, mind you he may be working on Saturday so he can't join you, but may come up later on!!! :augie

:hide :D

Does it need to be in that particular village as Neath is not far away.

The home town of Toads (Dan) lovely wife.

:dabone Funnily enough I am working Saturday, but I've got a family dinner that night so won't be meeting anyone this weekend - unless you're up in Pontypridd for a game on Sunday. :D I may be up for a few beers in Cardiff for the Wales v New Zealand game next month.

Ystradgynlais is a bit out of my patch, but I know the girls at Clee Tompkinson & Francis' Carmarthen office. They're a pretty efficient lot and they have an office in Ystradgynlais. Tel: 01639 646926. I think their local paper is the South Wales Guardian?

Now I didn't know that? :eek

Gentlemen, Neath would be near enough, anywhere within a 30 minute commute ideal, anything within an hour commute acceptable. I do commute slowly however!

Thanks for the on going help.

One other thing...how do you go about pronouncing Ystradgynlais??
east trad gean lay?

Close but no cigar,I 'm no expert but I think it's.....
Ust....rad...gun....lice

Lambie, put a request on www.VDSR.co.uk. That is a local forum that is biker hosted and has it origins in and around Ystrad !
You should be swamped with info.

Just registered. Seems Neath has plenty of affordable places to rent, but none have a garage...anyone know about lock ups?

Got it seen it done it, moving in Sunday.
Clee came up with the goods in Ystragynlais.

Well done Boyo !

Now all you have to do is to watch out for people trying to flog you a Double Bed !:eek

Nice one Steve,

You'll be able to discover the A4069 between Brynamman to Llangadog now then, its a good'un but treat it with care.:thumb2

Oh yes, start work on Monday....at Touratech, so pop in, just don't expect me to know where anything is, or to be any better than a cute baby bambi in the headlights of life for a few days at least.

Be happy to talk bikes though!

Are you suggesting the double bed may have damaged springs, or be a "deadman's" bed?

...and when, exactly, does it stop pi$$ing it down around here?
In Ystradgynlais? Never.

Didn't anybody tell you? :D

You couldn't have picked a worse time to move if you tried. In all I've had 7 rugby games cancelled due to waterlogged pitches in the last month. Tomorrows game doesn't look promising either. :(

Don't worry about finding stock, its probably all in Germany:augie

Five to seven days for some of the less frequently ordered things that just can't afford to be held in stock, doesn't seem that bad. I mean, Amazon can take 14 days for a book and they are a much, much bigger company. It's taking a month for me to get my bed and they had one there, in the shop, just a few miles away from where I live.
Broadband, just throwing a switch...three weeks. Money transfer from my account in the USA, my own money, transferred within the same banking company, 10 days.
We are clearing out the older workshop to increase stock area. The mezzanine area is being developed so more stock can be put there too.

Having said all that, the new streetline range will need to be housed somewhere and there's 1500 products there, if we only have one of each.

One reason I've been brought in is to expand the TT offering through Dealer networks. With more purchases, the more we can invest in stock.
Chicken and egg I'm afraid.:comfort

Of course we could just dump the lot and sell wellies and brollies, there must be a market for them around here.:D
