Renthal Bars.....

Hi guys,
does anyone have any experience of fitting these to a gs? I have recently aquired an 01 F650GS GD with blue excel rims on it and i fancy fitting a set of blue anodised renthals as an extra wee touch, the bike has heated grips which i've heard can be a problem? The bike also has BMW handguards fitted, are these a problem to keep with aftermarket bars? Cheers in advance,

This is what you want, heated grips and all, I was lucky, mine came from George as previous post, easy to fit, just needed a longer brake line. picture should be attached. john

Thanks for posting the pic

the bars look on the wide side. I would have cut them down a bit but that is my personal thing.

Only 2 sets of adapters left and once those are gone I dont know if I will be able to get any more made.

Yes your probably right, would have saved messing about with the longer brake line, but don`t really notice the difference riding it and I`m going to sell it soon anyway. Have bought an 1100Rs to go with the 1200gs now. john
