Repair advise please

Plugged the wrong charger into my tomtom Rider two weeks ago 6 hrs before I set off for portugal
The obvious happend and needless to say it stayed at home :tears
I read this causes the "Main Board " to burn out :spitfire
Off to France next Fri and need an urgent repair :confused:
Does anyone know where I can get a speedy ( Cheap ?) repair

Only tomtom I guess
Could be right judging by replies

Anyway had to Cancel france
Spoke to tomtom four times now only after hanging on the phone twenty minutes at at time to get through to someone " we are experiecing a high volume of calls at the moment please ring back or look for your answer on the the internet site "
GET MORE BASTID PHONES AND PEOPLE tom
emailed them the same info three times and still waiting for them to send a returns box
Can i drop it off to a repair centre "No" they say it has to come back to Scotland our only repair centre
Can i just send the unit "No" i have to send the whole shooting match back including the Docking Cradle on the Bike :spitfire
Can they send the request for info they need (Which they already have ) to my work email to save time "No" unless its an e mail address that is already regitered in my name
Why do i have to wait to respond to an email from them to confirm my address when my unit and me are already regitered and i have sent the requst via mail and phone three times "Its the way our repair centre works "
Yesterdays call again waited nearly twenty minutes
Still not had the return box and its urgent i tell them "Wait untill tomorrow and see i it turns up if not phone us and we will send another its the
Royal Mails fault "

TomTom service is crap,with a capital C,I bought a Rider 1 ,when it came on the marked,nothing but trouble,ran out of battery,because the charger on the bike (docing cradle)lost contact on the pins
Called and e-mailed many times,in the end I took a sledge hammer and crushed the whole unit,no mor TT for me.

Received the Box and sent it on its merry way ,Got a quote for 98.00 new pounds to fix it :spitfire:spitfire My fault i know shouldnt have plugged in the wrong charger :rob
Paid the man and today i have received my fixed tomtom back
Me thinks tom reads these pages as in the box came not one but two Chargers !!
Absoloute shhhhhhiiiitttttteeeeeeeee service :monkeypiz tom but i still like the product and it cost too much in the first place not to have fixed
Moto to the story "Dont plug in the wrong charger when its out of warrenty Twat !!
