Replacement Laptop Batteries

The battery on my three year old Acer needs replacing as it only lasts about 10 minutes now, so do I buy a genuine one for £80 or look at one of the cheaper options starting at around £25?

Has anyone any experience of non-standard replacement batteries?

Never had problems with the cheap ones.. but I do try to look for one that looks more genuine than a fake if that makes sense.. Also if your using fleabay check the feedback for people with issues...

And never ever ever leave a device plugged in without being supervised. i.e. unplug it when your out the house or at night, that way you will know if it gets too hot.

Yep. You should replace a new battery as soon as possible. As for replacement laptop batteries, i would recommend expensive original ones rather than cheap batteries. Cheap, to some extent, means inferior quality and it is a risk to buy such type of batteries. Check out the following link for quality Acer batteries.
