Replacing clutch hose.

I am looking to replace the standard clutch hose on my gs with a braided stainless steel type,can anybody tell me the best way to go about it, as I am attempting this by myself.

Cable tie the new one to the old one - and pull it through from the gearbox up to the bars , moving backward and forwards if it gets stuck
