I am looking for recommendations for Reporting software please.

In on Mac or PC
take data from excel or a LIMS system and provide a decent layout that does n it need a lot of programming.

Manny years ago I used Crystal Reports but are there simpler setups these days.

At present I am just using a separate tab on excel that drags in the data from an input page.

Learn to use pivot tables and smart pivot in excel. Will do all that crystal could do and be easier to use.

As someone previously involved in company environmental reporting I would stick to Excel as much as possible. Learn to use some of its advanced features like pivot tables that allow grouped analysis of bulk data.

Haven't used pivot tables for a while now, but they are really powerful ways of pulling together raw data into meaningful reports.

You can create charts and graphs from it too which seems to please the C-Suite who like a pretty picture :D

Lots of free resources to get you started with them. Here's one for example.
