Right the time has come to sell my GS. I have a 04 bike with 23k miles on the lock. The bike isn't in mint condition - big dent on the silver panel on the side of the fuel tank, scrapped cyclinder head (didn't buy guards :blast) and a few marks on the panniers.

On the plus side it is fully services, comes with full luggage, tank bank, and Autocom Pro Duo.

Any ideas on what a fair price (rough guide) is for it??

There is a valuation section , but here you go

Original Price £9,275
Independent Dealer £6,670
Private Good £6,185
Private Poor £5,155
Part Exchange £5,995

Yours is Irish reg i assume so + Euro700.00 .

This is according to Parkers ,

Part Exchange for an R1200GS in good condition with 12K miles is currently £5,800. For that one, I suspect you'd get offered not much more than £5K.

Yes but like it or lump it the bikes are more expensive here in Dublin (tax) both new & secondhand.

***Part Exchange £5,995***

Williams Manchester offered me a LOT less than that last week, and mine is 05 and ( Blush ) only 15000 miles top bike too. FSH and loads of bits onit.
So i will not being going to them again.

OH! no top box thou.

You could easily DIY fix the tank panel dent and cover in an hour for under £200. - If it adds £800-1000 to the valuation it's got to be worth a go, unless the condition overall is poor.

04 12 Williams offered £5000

Rainbow offered £6000

Not much difference is there!
