Resetting your old panniers to new ignition key

Guys

I want to use my old GS1150 BMW panniers with a GSA that I bought recently to replace it. I gave both my keys to the new owner when I sold the GS and kept the panniers as they fitted the GSA fine. The panniers are the black plastic BMW ones and were supplied new with the bike back in 2002.

The panniers are locked, which I suspect will be a show stopper.

I have seen a guy that sells the ability to re-code your locks to a new ignition key on ebay in the past, but there's nothing I could find there now.

Does anyone have advice on this? I am off on holiday on Wednesday and hoped to use the panniers so really urgent!

If you can't be arsed doing it yourself, take it to a BM dealer and they will be able to do it for you. I did that and it cost me a tenner or so.
