I would not bother with a helmet band. If you want hi-viz on your helmet, try a couple of strips of 3M Diamond grade tape. I have some red hi-viz tape on the back of my helmet.

I have got one of THESE, its an Urban-Glow TourStar G2 sizes are

TourStar G2
(adjustable vest)
Size 1 (36" to 42")
Size 2 (44" to 50")
Size 3 (52" to 60")

Fits a treat over my jacket, speak to Steve, he is always up for a deal.

My jacket came with yellow reflective tapes on (the better diamond pattern one) you can have Yellow, White or Pink:ymca:ymca its your choice.

Its got a pocket on the back to put a bladder in so you can have a drink on those long hot days, 2 pockets on the front around the waist, a pocket on the left side for a radio/mobile phone and a couple of D rings on.

Hope this helps

Hi There,

I have a helmet band - similar but another brand and I find it amazing, it really lights up. Mine is made by halo band. Its silver in colour and goes white under light. Its made of neoprene so you can take it on and off - similar to what you have linked to. I have found that after about six months the neo prene stretches and it ends up around your neck after a ride...I solved this by a little dab of super glue, I left it on permanently. For hi vis purposes its great.

Re the waistcoat I used to wear these but they get dirty and In my opinion loose their vis. I now use this

Its brilliant, its made by respro. People who ride with me tell me its much more hi vis than a waistcoat. Firstly its made of reflective material not just hi vis so it really lights up. Secondly because its only a strip it lies against the black of your jacket which gives it much more contrast and it actually lights up with the slightest amount of light against it. With the normal hi vis waistcoats its just a block of hi vis that is just hi vis (not very reflective). These H belts are great and they're easy to take on and off and store up small too.

As per title.

Looking at their Super waistcoat, but struggling with sizing as can't find it anywhere. Also what's the quality like?

I bought their H-Belt, excellent quality and very bright, doesn't stay on your jacket though, not unless you have eppaulettes to snag it through, can be seen all around, when on the bike, good bit of kit.:thumb2

Well tried both.
The helmet band is an OK fit on my Arai but covers a couple of vents which I don't use....I think.

Vest is tight round arms, baggy on chest in the nearest size with no adjusment to stop it flapping so it's going back. Not that impressed to be fair.:(
