anyone had any experiences with this jacket as i am looking at getting one along with the dakar trousers

I don't have a Devil, but have got one of their Off Track jackets ( in Black/Grey not the TWAT suit Grey/Yellow version 
)
Used it through the winter and the double linings do work for rain and warmth.
One minor point that may be a different design on the Devil model, the collar stud that secures the collar round your neck is a little but too weak. By this I don't mean it breaks, it just opens too easily i.e. do a life saver look and the collar opens. I have taken to wearing a buff / neck gaiter over the collar but might get inventive with some additional velcro. Effect doesn't happen quite so often with collarless summer undershirts so would suggest trying on the jacket with appropriate layers and making sure you test some neck movements with the collar done up.
