So I've had an off-track jacket and pants paid for and on order for about 7 weeks now. The jacket is allegedly in store but there's no pants this side of saturn. Has anyone been able to pick any up in recent weeks or am I simply being taken for a ride because I'm (northern) Irish?? I feel like binning the whole thing and going to Hurst's to pick up a twat suit...even at the extra expense.

My local shop has the jacket and trousers all in stock for standard sizes.

I have a pair of the trousers on order in black with long leg which are on back order, should be here mid May so I am told......it would appear that they are selling faster than they expected, mate of mine also has a pair in black on order, grey ones in stock.

at last

So after some time, the new Rev'it gear arrived through the door on Saturday. Harpers were very apologetic but it was out of their hands - they are a very helpful and great bunch btw. It got to the point where I was so tired of waiting that I was just going to fork out the extra for a twat suit, but am so glad I didn't now.

The kit is exceptionally well put together and well thought out. I rode some good miles on sat in it and a couple of hundred on Sunday. First of all, if the temperature is over 12degs, you'll expire with the thermal liner in. I took it out of both the trousers and jacket and it was perfect. I would imagine in the middle of winter that I'd only need a t-shirt or two on to stay warm. However, it's the detailing in terms of the seals, zip-out panels, and various other little things too numerous to mention, that is brilliant. And on top of it all, it just looks damn good. At this point and before a good Irish winter of testing, thumbs up to the Rev'it crew.

I have the Off Track jacket with the Dakar pants (in the darker colours) and rode with them through the last winter, must have gone to at least -3 but still used comfortably without using any specifc thermal clothing underneath

Did get a tad moist in the crotch once  but when you go round a corner and find 3" of water across the whole road and realize that the water washed out gravel you don't tend to brake too hard - must of gone in at 20-25mph, resulting in a bow wave that somehow launched over the screen of my R1100S as well as bouncing off the cylinder heads and launching up my sides. A tad extreme and did get some crotch seepage, but the rest of me remained dry.

BTW I find the collar stud a tad annoying as I find it comes undone too easily, have taken to wearing my neck gaiter over the collar although it doesn't come apart as often now summer is here and I am wearing thinner undershirts and not using the linings.
