Fitted my new rear Wilbur shock from Rev's this week and would just like to say how impressed with the whole service and product and great advice from John. Great company:thumb2

John and Nick at Revs fitted a new Wilbers WESA shock to my 09 GS yesterday. Excellent, old-fashioned service: within a minute of arriving I had a cuppa in my hand, which was very welcome on a cold morning. John took me down to the local dealers in Halesowen ('Streetbike', I think), had a huge fry-up and wombled about, leering at the new Tracer until a salesman sidled up and gave me the speil. The job took about 5 hours and John then picked me up from the dealers. The old shock was completely knackered, leaking oil; I didn't realise how bad it had got. The new shock, unsurprisingly, feels so much better. It meshed seamlessly with the ESA, no problems whatsoever. It looks like a quality bit of kit and I'm very pleased with the job. They even went as far as copper-greasing the silencer clamp, ready for next time. The best thing I have noticed about the new shock - and far more so than the stock Showa - is how it lets the tyres get on with thier job of gripping the road and giving me feedback. You know exactly what they are doing. A big boost to confidence all round. I would definately recommend a Wilbers WESA and the standard of service at Revs. I have no connection with Revs other then being a very satisfied customer! :clap

I was incredibly pleased with mine on the old bike and the lads at revs are super !

Good old-fashioned service and product-knowledge: a rare thing these days and something to be cherished.

My brother has one on his old Aprilia Pegaso 650. Overkill on an old bike maybe but its been given a whole new lease of life. Only snag is the front forks which Revs overhauled now feel decidedly lacking. Again their work was great but the forks really are nothing special.
