The docs are pleased with his progress and have promised to get him moved to Preston as soon as a bed is available.
Both vehicles (R1150GS and RAV4) are write offs, but thankfully the Police are treating it as an accident. Brian is a careful rider anyway. No evidence of what made him lose the front end though. I intend to go up there this week to search for his Garmin and will take a good look at the corner surface as well.

He is planning on a 650 Dakar when the insurance money comes through, so anybody selling one, please get in touch.
