I have just got an 07 1200GS with on board computor and have gone to fit the oil cooler grill from my old 1200 only to find the near side mounting now has a bracket for the outside temperature sensor behind the beak:eek: . Has anyone managed to fit the grill and sensor as the 2 parts don't line up:confused: I don't know whether to try and move the sensor although there doesn't seem anywhere else near by to put it and obviously it needs to be in a suitable position to get an acurate temperature. I want to be able to fit the grill as not only does it look good it is there for a purpose:nenau

Fit the longer screw from the guard through the sensor and tighten it, It should stick out the other side enough for you to space the grill to the left and fit the locking nut to the screw?.
Or take the sensor bracket and cut off the captivated nut and fit the grill and use the bracket as a spacer.

I added an extra bracket instead of the large spacer it fits OK although the sensor is further forward. It will do for now:clap
