ok guys as usual we'll meet you either in the first layby on the A49 just off the island in Ludlow, in the direction of Craven Arms about, 08.45. Or alternatively meet us at The Plough pub in Far Forest at 08.30. :D

From Robbies post it looks like we'll be having a change of scenery and a bit of an explore round new areas this time! all good fun! :thumb :D

Anybody got a waypoint?

take the 456 out of Kidderminster heading West, past Bewdley, to the junction with the A4117.
Turn right onto the 4117, The Plough is on your left about a mile along.
Can't miss it.

If you think you can miss it then come to my house (EDIT - It may be better to PM such detail BTBR) at 8.10 , you'll be coming past here anyway :thumb

roughly here N52 22.069 W2 23.902 Howard :thumb look left you caan't miss it we'll all be sheltering from the thunderous rain and snow probably!

Cheers BTBR - but I live in a cul-de-sac covered by at least 5 sets of geriatric eyeballs that instantly triangulate anything that moves - my GS is safe.

By the way, I'm attempting to buy a right old nail (1983 XT550) which I will be quite happy to throw down the road instead of 10ks worth of GS :D

Beats me why people buy GS's is they are frightened of throwing em down the road. haven't you heard the crash bars and proper boxes allow you to do this with aplomb .............I thought everyone bought them to put on TKC's or heidenaus and go off road..........and even if you do fall off your going so slow it doesnt matter anway. And there's me with 10 grand worth of 1200 with 5 grand worth of bits.............. :D

Can't see how crash bars and boxes are going to do a lot when your doing 40-60mph on fire trails

Even the slow 'offs' can do considerable damage to these 'heavy weights'

Plus, not everyone is wealthy enough to just 'shrug' their shoulders when a 12 grand bike is trashed and just go out and buy another :mmmm

I love riding my GS off road, but I must admit, I do get a wee bit worried about trashing my main mode of transport!

It's just a bike

funny you should say that, you should have seen what i did to the 1200 I used at the offroad school, mind they do take some trashing :P ;)

Ah but I only ride slow :D
Have to be careful with Sue on the back. I mean I rarely get into third on fire roads on the 1200 anyway  Now if I was on my airhead, thats totally different, i'm really careful on that as everyone knows :mmmm

Sorted!
