Right, the XT is now at least doing an impression of running normally, so I'm coming on that.

Sadly, I'm now away for 3 days in Nice (that's the seaside in the South of France for all you land-locked urbanite Brummies) pretending to attend a conference whilst gawping at Monaco down the road. So, I'll be at The Plough in Far Forest at 8.30 on Sunday, come rain or shine.

Guys i've given it some very serious thought but on the basis sunday will be the best race i've ever seen and this season has seen some good uns i'm going to stay at home on sunday. I've moved the 42" plasma screen into the garage next to the fully stocked fridge (Beer, Chocky and a fine selection of edibles from the deli) and me and the big girl (thats the 12GSA not the wife )are going to watch Rossi take his 7th (yes he is a god ) world championship.
I've even bought a pair of stienhauser earphones so i'm focused on the noise of the race (no outside noises to ruin the experiance) and new locks for the garage door. I've even got a fire extingusher so should the house burn down during the race I can put the fires out around me . I think i'm all set...
So sorry guys your on your own in the mud and rain, I know i'll be thinking of you. NOT...........

Don't worry, all the tracks are covered with a 'hardcore' type material, there won't be that much mud. My rear TKC is shagged, so I'll be choosy where I'm riding

As for buying a CBR theres a couple of issues there
1) it's a Honda
2)its a CBR a bike ridden by numpties
3) its a Honda.

It was very wet the last time we went up there, Rob was on Tourance and so was Gaz (he was an off road virgin too) they both managed very well indeed. Don't underestimate these tyres. In certain conditions they'll out-perform a TKC!

Stop being and just come, you'll really enjoy it
