dirty doggies
just been out on the XL for a little practice,I rode in the worst mud I've ever been in (6" deep and like tar in places) and I stayed upright
Its a lane used by those earth mover things,I always wondered what was down there,I now know ,400 yds of glorious mud
apart from the odd Vulcan death grip moment with the bars I thoroughly enjoyed myself. 
Roll on the weekend, I may go up to my mates farm on saturday and get some practice in.Slow XL my arse.
purchased some alpinestar tech 3s today and a cheap MX lid for arseing about on the mountains( I don't want to knacker my shuberth)
you could have told me that the boots aren't waterproof
see both of you at knills (crossgates) for brekkie

I'm working in France for a week , leaving on sunday the 5th,but I might just sqeeze a half days riding in,guess where I'm staying on the night of the 5th

never had to rebuild a set of sealskinz
gortex boots have always been more than adequate on the road, my old army dannas have done 15 yrs without letting a drop of water in,but nice new tech 3s
you can't even hose them off without getting drenched 
oh well when we're knee deep in water on sunday it'll all be worth while.
you haven't seen the new off road section have you
never had to rebuild a set of sealskinz

this falling in streams is becoming a habit
I know I by riding the xl but I learnt a lot more today than I would have if I'd been on the adv

great day guys, I haven't laughed that much in ages or had as much fun on a bike - I think we all faced our own challenges today in one way or another!
How surreal was it coming round that corner, the bike knee deep in water to see an inflatable tank and 2 serb looking soldiers at a checkpoint!! think they nearly ran for cover as Gaz's bike misfired on 'em!!I have got to get a helmet cam sorted!!
