I had to replace the RHS switch block on my 1150GS (cover broken) but the one I bought on EBay had different plugs on the end of the wiring. No worries there, I dismantled both and transferred the old switches complete with wiring and plug to the new housing. Works well.
Trouble is that I have a length of straight springy wire about 20mm long left over. Didnt notice it until everything was reassembled.
I notice that now the kill switch is a little sloppy so I assume the bit of wire is a spring for this but I cant work out where it fits..
Can anyone help here? - diagram or pic would be good.
