Right then it's a wots it worth thread.
Got a 1976 Rickman K1-z bought as salvage in 1980, hit something with the front wheel bent it broke the forks and the frame at the fork tube/ chrome frame jobbie. New frame bought in 80 along with some S/H forks and front wheel, engine has a lump out of the bottom end ( sump and genny cover )
the new frame is now showing signs of being in the garage roof space for 3 years. Log book V5 in my hand, last MOT said 3600 miles, most of the bits
to put it back together....so wots it worth? Remember it's a TOTAL resoration job.
Ta! Lyn.

I would probably offer a grand but they dont come up that often so no idea really.
Four of my mates had them in the 80's one was a track bike that he registered for the road:blast

All were slower than my Jota though (or I was madder:augie)

Thanks for that:thumb2 had no idea of price but i did pay £400 for it in 1980:blast need to find a lower crankcase (sump) and genny cover now then.

Z-power in Leigh Lancashire stock most bits new and used for the early Zeds

you will need deep pockets though

would be worth rebuilding..... then selling! rarely see them below £5000 on the road

hm

£5000£5000

Must have a proper think on this, mind it's time and money. I have a load of other stuff i would like to do first, well! before i snuff-it anyway..:rob

The value of £5k seems high to me. I like them so I always keep an eye on values. Most seem to go for around £2750-£3500 in good condition.

Not sure I've ever seen one for £5k.

Cheers, Colin.
