I and my friends are in early planning stages for Volgograd trip next year. Has anyone any recommendations what is worth visiting in Stalingrad? Mamaev Kurgan is obvious. Anything else?

I think the itinery for the ride-on tour covers most stuff.

I think I will see what they are up to in 2009 and maybe have a try then.

(already have 4 trips planned for '08 )
