Sounds good to me, if you like I can wait at junction 37 and as you pass join u (i presume u will come down some of the m6), have a brew at devils bridge and then decide where to go.

From here (NW Durham) Shottley bridge to Stanhope, Middleton in Teesdale, Brough, Kirkby Stephen, Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale. About 75 miles.
So it's best to either meet you at the bridge or Sedbergh.

It is Appleby Horse Fair weekend and the roads around Kirkby Stephen and Sedburgh will have slow moving horses or tethered on every bit of spare grass, glad I'm heading up to Fort William Friday
